MONTHLY NEWS LETTER | MAY 2026
My Journey To Today Foundation
Monthly Newsletter | May 2026
Hello Journeyer,
May was a month of meaningful engagement, strategic relationship-building, and continued community impact. Guided by our mission to empower and uplift communities through inclusive, equitable, and sustainable initiatives, My Journey To Today Foundation remains committed to creating opportunities that strengthen connections and support positive social change.
May Highlights
Miami Swim Week | May 27–30
Our team proudly participated in Miami Swim Week, engaging with professionals across the fashion, entertainment, and media industries. The experience provided valuable opportunities for networking, partnership development, and professional growth.
As part of our media and public relations efforts, team members had the opportunity to support coverage and engagement surrounding performances and appearances involving high-profile talent, including @MeganTheeStallion, Sexyy Red, and Jason Derulo. A notable highlight was witnessing @MeganTheeStallion's performance at Kiki's Restaurant & Lounge in Miami, further expanding our exposure to industry-leading entertainment experiences and professional connections.
Civic Engagement Initiatives
The Civic Engagement Department successfully completed community canvassing efforts at Marcus Garvey Park in Upper Manhattan, New York, and in Columbia, South Carolina. These outreach activities continue to support our commitment to community engagement while strengthening local relationships and increasing awareness of future opportunities and initiatives.
Community Partnership Dinners
Through our ongoing food review partnership initiative, MJTTF hosted engagement experiences at Chasin' Tails and Blake's Oyster Bar. These gatherings provided opportunities to strengthen professional relationships, support local businesses, and foster meaningful conversations within our growing network.

Thank you for your outstanding service and continued contributions to the Foundation's mission.
